This painful condition causes sudden and severe pain, redness, swelling, and immobility, leaving him bedridden. En Zulkepli often wakes up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain in his hands, toes, legs, and joints.

His primary caregiver is his elderly wife, who is deaf and attends to him daily. They live with their son, who works in a bakery shop at a shopping mall with monthly low wages. Despite his hard work, the son’s modest income is barely enough to cover basic needs, like rent and essential groceries, including the nutritious milk powder En Zulkepli’s needs.
